Benefit

  •  CHF 10’000 per semester
  •  Reservation of a student room in a student residence (for “external” candidates only)
  •  A certificate of excellence (at the end of the master’s program)
  • Fellowship holders will be responsible to cover all expenses on their own (tuition fees, rents, etc.).
  • The fellowship will be paid :
  • provided that fellowship holders are registered as regular EPFL students (see section 4.6)
  • for a maximum of 4 semesters (3 for a 90-credit Master’s program). No extension is possible, even in case of a minor or for any other reason that might extend the duration of studies.
  • If there is a paid internship or Master's project (see section 4.4), only 3 payments will be possible (2 for a 90-credit Master programme), provided that the renewal criteria are met at the end of the 1st year (see section 3.1).

  • 1. Your resumé (curriculum vitae).
  • 2. Copy of your University degree(s), if already available.
  • 3. Complete transcripts from each university you have attended.
  • 4. A statement of purpose. See below for a detailed explanation.
  • 5. The contact details of three academic referees, who will each be asked to produce a recommendation letter for you (except for holders of an EPFL 7. Bachelor’s degree, and those who hold a Bachelor’s degree from ETH Zürich or a Swiss university or FHS/HES and are applying for a Master’s program in the same field of study). See below for a more detailed explanation.
  • 7. Your identity card or passport.
  • Additional requirement to apply for Architecture: a work portfolio is also required and must be uploaded to a dedicated web server.
OTHERS
In order for the fellowship to be renewed for the second year of the Master’s degree, students must have obtained at least 50 ECTS credits and have an overall average of 5,0/6.
