  • Fully Funded: Tuition free education
  • Monthly Stipend (HUF 43,700 / cca EUR 130) (Bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s and non-degree programmes)
  • Monthly Stipend (HUF 140,000 (cca EUR 331) 4 semester, HUF 180,000 (cca EUR 425) 4 semester (Doctoral)
  • Accommodation contribution (HUF 40,000/month)
  • Medical insurance (HUF 65,000 / cca EUR 195 per year/person)
  • Note : Please bear in mind that these provisions are only a contribution to the living expenses of the Scholarship Holders. It means that it does not fully cover all the costs of living and the students need to add their own financial resources in order to cover all living expenses in Hungary

  • A. For Government Employees (Masteral, PhD Programs, and Postgraduate Specialist Training Courses applicants)
  • 1. A letter of nomination addressed to the CHED Chairperson, Attention: Director of the International Affairs Service, signed by the Secretary of Head of Office, Agency, University of Entity or its duly authorized official indicating among others the following:
  • Assurance of utilizing the services of the nominee, if accepted for a period of not less than two (2) years for every year of scholarship or a fraction thereof not less than six (6) months as stipulated in Executive Order 367 amending Executive Order 129; and
  • That the nominee shall be paid his/her salary and other financial privileges while on training pursuant to the aforementioned Executive Order
  • 2. Letter of Recommendation/Support from a professor of the host Hungarian university/institution (For PhD applicants only)
  • 3. Certified Copy of Service Record
  • 4. Certified Copy of Statement of Actual Duties and Responsibilities
  • 5. Photocopy of Transcript of Academic Records (Baccalaureate and Graduate, if applicable)
  • 6. Photocopy of Diploma (Baccalaureate and Graduate, if applicable)
  • 7. Certification that the nominee has no pending administrative and criminal case
  • 8. Certification that the nominee has no pending scholarship nomination for another program and has no pending service obligation from a previous scholarship
  • 9. Updated biodata/resume with list of in-service training and seminars attended (spell out acronyms of organizers and topics or subjects of the training programs); certificates of training NEED NOT be submitted)
  • 10. A letter of application addressed to:

  • 6. Additional requirement for non-permanent employees affiliated to government agencies: Certification from the Human Resource Office of the agency stating no objection to the employee’s application to the program
