Benefit

  • Doctoral candidates receive a doctoral scholarship for a period of 48 months. The scholarship currently amounts to PLN 4242 gross (before mid-term evaluation) and PLN 5340.90 gross per month (after mid-term evaluation). Doctoral candidates with a disability certificate receive a doctoral scholarship increased by PLN 1040.70 gross per month.
  • A Scholarship to Start has been prepared for candidates with the best enrolment results, financed entirely from the funds of the University of Warsaw. The scholarship is awarded to 20% of those with the best results within each discipline.

  • Scan of diploma entitling to undertake doctoral studies
  • Description of the preliminary research project proposal with a title and a summary
  • Resume or CV outlining the candidate’s scientific activity
  • Scans of materials evidencing scientific activity mentioned in the CV or resume
  • Declaration of the level of proficiency in English allowing the participation in the teaching process at the School
  • Scan of a declaration by the planned supervisor confirming their agreement to undertake the duties of a supervisor
  • Photograph of a candidate’s face that allows for their identification
  • Doctoral status declaration (if applies)
  • Declaration confirming that the candidate have reviewed the Resolution and Articles 40 and 41 of the Code of Administrative Proceedings
